The Mystery of a Barren Woman Pt.2

II PETER 3:1-4

1     ¶ This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2   That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3     ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4   And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? (Peter is telling us of the attitude that would be among the people in the last days concerning the prophecies of the coming of the Lord, in that they would question “where is the manifestation of His coming”? – because to many, and because time has gone on so long, it seems like it has failed – look at their reasoning) for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

GENESIS 30:1-4

1     ¶ And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

2   And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

3   And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her.

4   And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her.

Notice how that this is the same idea of what Sarah had done with getting Abraham to go with her maid Hagar. Look at the pressure that these women were under because of barrenness.

GENESIS 30:22-24

22   And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

23   And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:

     24   And she called his name Joseph;

The Mystery of a Barren Woman Pt.2

**Last week we spoke about how that infertility within a marriage can have an incredibly profound and negative effect on people, not only for the woman who discovers herself barren, but also for the husband and other family members, and even by their friends.

And so barrenness is something that can affect many people and play a major part in the cause of strife and stress that can come between relationships (as we saw in our scripture reading in Genesis 30 between Jacob and Rachel).

*When a person that is sick and is maybe prayed for, and then it seems like that that pray was not answered by God in the way that the person thought of how that God should have answered that prayer, then that can also be the cause a relationship strain between God and the person because of how the person can perceive that as a form of barrenness in their life, because barrenness can come in many forms.

*Joblessness is a form of barrenness. A lack of motivation is a form of barrenness, because humans were design by God to be busy about their business. Financial lack is also a form of barrenness – it all brings stress and strain.

*And so there are many things that people can suffer from the effects of some form of barrenness in their lives.

**And so this subject of barrenness is an area of life of where many people live and struggle with and for some, they have even “lost” their faith in God because of what they perceive that their prayers of which they had desperately prayed to God were seemingly not answered by God – and so that can leave a person with a deep feeling of barrenness that then puts a strain on that person’s relationship with God just as we see with the strain that existed between Rachel and Jacob.

*And so barrenness is not just a thing that concerns a woman that cannot conceive and bear children, but this subject of barrenness can affect many of us in many different areas of our lives.

I SAMUEL 1:5-10

5   But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

6   And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. (Women in the bible represent churches – and so here we see Peninnah (the other wife of Elkanah) taunting Hannah and making fun of her because the LORD had kept her from having children, and we sometimes see this attitude among churches of one church provoking another church that does not seem to them to be conceiving and bearing life. People seem to love to taunt others in their areas of barrenness)

7   And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her (every time she went to a message convention, she was provoked, and this kept upsetting her); therefore she wept, and did not eat.

8   Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? (In other words – isn’t the revelation of myself (a type of the word for this day) better then bearing 10 sons?)

9     ¶ So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

10   And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

*Look at the pain of the reproach of what Hannah as a barren woman had been enduring for all those years.

*And so barrenness in whatever form it comes in, it puts a strain on people, and it will often cause other people to look down upon them and even mock and in some cases taunt them – and public shaming is one of the worst things.

*And so the bible deals with this subject by showing us these seven women in the bible of which there is a great strain and pressure of their life to produce the promise of the word that was purposed for their life, but firstly, in all their cases, they all had to endure a season of barrenness of which they had to bear and suffer the reproach of that barrenness first by the scoffers and taunters.

Christ Himself also had to endure scoffing and taunting.

THE.REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-16 SUNDAY_ 62-1223

23-7 …barrenness first, have to be bare; have to stand a reproach of barrenness. Sarah had to stand it. So did Zacharias and Elisabeth have to stand it.

*Notice how that he includes the man (Zacharias) also as well as the woman (Elisabeth) in this reproach of barrenness.

And in this hour, it is not just the bride’s reputation that is on the line, but it’s also Christ’s reputation that is on the line, because when she is barren, then He is also effectively barren – it’s not like He’s got other denominational wives in this hour. They have already shut Him (the word) out of their churches.

THE.REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-16 SUNDAY_ 62-1223

24-6    Look at the great Ephesian church. There's only twelve in it. Look what a group we have today, the side of them. There's only eight souls in the days of Noah. There's only five in the days of Lot. No, four, Lot, his wife, and his two daughters; and she turned to a pillar of stone, after she got out by looking back. Actually three come out in that day. Jesus said, "As it was in them days..." It behooves us to watch and be careful. How few are the righteous. But as ever, the scoffers must reproach. The barren--stand the reproach of barrenness first.

**Notice that he is trying to show us of how that this barrenness works out of what comes before the fulfilment of the promise of God – because this is what reduces the numbers, because not all can endure through the long and lonely and extended time of barrenness, like how God delayed the flood for 120 years, and also delayed Abraham and Sarah bringing forth the promise son Isaac well after it was impossible for Sarah to have born children.

**In other words, one of the greatest tests of a human being is the test of barrenness, because unfruitfulness is such an unpleasant thing to a human being. And so the point is that you have to bear the reproach for a season of your life of what looks like that God has failed in keeping His promise to you – and not everyone can handle that, but that was the test that proved Noah’s faith, and Abraham’s faith.

*You have to pass the test of the reproach of barrenness first of all the scoffers that will mock and taunt you and say to you “where is the promise of His coming” like what they said to Noah in Noah’s day after 100 years had gone by.

And this is why that before the promise of God is finally manifested, that the reality is that there are many that will drop off the wagon along the way because of the reproach of barrenness.

***The reasoning of the human mind of the appearance of what looks to have failed of a promise of God of which people have held onto for so long has cause many over the years to give up – and we have all witnessed that as we have gone along through the years of being believers in this end time message.

It can become very embarrassing for people who have proclaimed something of a promise of God for many years, only for it to appear that that promised has failed to came to pass – but the true elect of God (like Abraham), they know that God is able to bring His word to pass regardless of the impossibility of how it looks to the reasoning of the human mind.

II PETER 3:3-4

3     ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4   And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Look at the thing of what they are scoffing at, they are mocking the prophecies concerning the events of the second coming of the Lord, and the second coming of the Lord is the seventh seal which is Mathew 24, and the seventh seal was made available to us through the channel of the voice of the seventh angel. And so this is the scoffers of the message - of the opening of the 7 seals.

MATTHEW 24:24-28

24   For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (The wonders of technology, and the deception of how Satan uses that technology to channel his lies through in order to bend the minds of the people away from the truth of the word of God for this hour)

25   Behold, I have told you before.

26   Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27   For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west (This word lighting, means light shining, a great shining light of truth that has been made available in this day globally from east to west – a worldwide availability of truth – this is what the coming of the Lord actually looks like in this end time hour); so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

28   For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

And so there is to be a gathering of an elected group of people that will gather around the light of this hour (the light of the eagle age) of what the world will flatly reject and even mock.

But this is the secret that has been revealed to the end time people of which will inject into us the faith of Abraham, but then like Abraham and Sarah, these same people of this eagle age will have to bear the same reproach of barrenness just as Abraham and Sarah did of where is looks like God has failed to keep the promise of His word to them.

MATTHEW 24:37

37   But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

As it was in the days of Noah - of how that Noah and his group of believers received from God the prophecy of the flood and the way of escape into a new world, but then they first had to bear up under a long season of barrenness of it not raining for 120 years.

LUKE 17:28

     28   Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

The days of Lot were also the days of Abraham and Sarah, and Abraham and Sarah had received the promise from God for that hour to become the parents of a great nation, but then they had to suffer for a long season of barrenness all through their lives until they had both grown old and were well past the time of child bearing of where the promise of God had looked like it had failed – and so all these scriptures are showing us of a mystery of a barren women in this day. Because God had already written the mystery of a barren woman of what it would be like in this day in the days of Abraham with Sarah being barren in the time of when Sodom would be destroyed.

*All true believers must first be tested by a season of barrenness in their lives before the promised of God can be manifested – and many will not even see the promise of God fulfilled in their lifetime, yet they were still found to have believed it to the end.

HEBREWS 11:13

13   These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

**We have briefly talk of these seven women in the bible who were all barren women.

*Sarah was baren.

*Rebekah under the ministry of Isaac was a barren woman.

*Rachel was a barren woman.

*Hannah was a barren woman

*The mother of Samson was barren

*The Shunammite woman under the ministry of Elisha was barren

*And Elizibeth of the New Testament was barren.

*Seven barren women spread across the bible from Sarah to Elizibeth.

*All these women in the bible are each showing us a different portion of the mystery of barren woman in these last days at harvest time.

*After Sarah’s barrenness came Isaac – and Isaac was the promised son of which was a type of Christ.

*After Rebeckah’s barrenness came Jacob. And Jacob was the father of the 12 patriarchs – a type of Christ, our father.

*After Rachel’s barrenness came Joseph – a perfect type of Christ

*After Hannah’s barrenness came Samual – of which when he was rejected, God said the it wasn’t Samual that was rejected, but it was God that they were rejecting in the form of Samual, because a prophet represents God to the people.

*When Manoah’s wife’s barrenness was over – she gave birth to Samson. And Sampson was the one who died between two pillars with his arms outstretched, he freely gave his life in order to bring victory to his people, just like Christ on the cross who died with His arms outstretched between two thieves to bring victory to His people also.

*When the Shunammite woman’s barrenness was over, she gave birth to the promised son that came by the prophecy of Elisha of whom died and then was risen back to life again – a type of Christ.

*And finally, after Elizabeth’s barrenness came John the Baptist, the very forerunner of Christ whose ministry was to make the pathway straight for Christ Himself.

*And so all these barren women were showing us of a prophecy of this end time hour of a great gentile church woman that has been barren for a long time also, but is soon to give birth to the word of this hour (Christ) by uniting with the word under the ministry of an Elisha anointing.

This will (and is) producing the coming of the promised SON (Christ) again in bride form just like Eve was the coming of Adam in bride form.

IT.IS.THE.RISING.OF.THE.SUN_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-12 SUNDAY_ 65-0418M

111   And as He, being the Groom, the Bride has to come forth, 'cause It's part of Him. And It can only be the manifestation of the fulfilling of all the revelations any others has spoke of the Bride (look at what he is saying here – all the woman in the bible that represented the end time bride of this hour – this end time bride can only be a manifestation of all the revelations of all the other woman in the bible); It can only manifest. If it does something different from the Groom, it isn't the Bride. Because, She is flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone; Life of His Life, Power of His Power! She is Him!

(Remember - Eve was actually just Adam in bride form, and Adam was Eve in Bridegroom from – because they were both apart of the one spirit and the one flesh because she was a part of Adam’s spirit and also a part of Adam’s flesh by being created from his rib, and so it took both Adam and Eve to both be manifested in order to fully reveal the full mystery of the one body of Adam which was both masculine and feminine)

As man and woman are one, and woman taken from his side; She had taken a Spirit, the feminish Spirit, from Him. The flesh from His side, made both Mechanics and Dynamics, the Wife. The Spirit of Him and the flesh of Him, and put it together, and made Mechanics and Dynamics.

I SAMUEL 1:4-8

4   And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

5   But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. (This is why we must understand that things in your life that seem barren, God is in full control over those things – and that He has a reason for these seasons of barrenness in your life)

6   And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. (Nobody likes to be mocked for things in their lives that they struggle with, but unfortunately, many people mock others of whom have struggles that they don’t personally, have because it makes them feel superior over the other person – and so this is a lesson for how we should always be kind and caring towards one another, and that we should never look down on someone who is struggling with some form of barrenness in their life)

7   And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

(Hannah was under great pressure. She was being mocked for her barrenness by her sister church as it were (Peninnah), and so she was in a state of continual sadness)

8   Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

She had her husband, just as we have the revealed word of this hour, and that is a great thing that is truly better than anything else.

But we see a mystery in the scripture that is beginning to be uncovered here concerning this barren woman (Hannah), and it was to do with her very powerful desire to bring forth fruit of the seed that she was continually receiving from her husband Elkanah, and because she was not bearing his fruit of what the other women were, this was causing her to grieve, because God design a woman with a strong desire to bear children – and God has also design the church with that same desire also, and this is where we find that the great test lay with Eve in Eden – because under Adam’s ministry, Eve found herself a barren woman.
